New Delhi: The Supreme Court said on Tuesday stayed the implementation of three farm laws until further orders and constituted a four-member Committee to better understand the ground situation.
‘’We are going to suspend the implementation of the three farm laws until further orders…there will be a committee to hold talks”, a three-Judge Bench headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde and comprising Justices A S Bopanna and V Ramasubramaniam, while hearing petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the contentious laws, said.
However, farmers unions said they would continue their agitation till the three farm laws are repealed.
