nCoV: Four test +ve, one succumbs in Punajb’s Jalandhar

Jalandhar The novel coronavirus death toll here in the Punjab’s district of Jalandhar soared to 14 as one more person lost his battle to the lethal virus on Thursday while four more case were reported, pushing the district caseload to 417.

Official sources told UNI that a 30-year-old woman, resident of Pachranga under Bhogpur police station of this district, succumbed to the fatal virus on late Wednesday.

The victim was already suffering from jaundice and was under treatment at the Kala Bakra Primary Health Centre from where she was brought to Jalandhar civil hospital, two days ago, after which her health started to deteriorate.
