
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday informed that his mother has received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
“Happy to share that my mother has taken the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today,” the PM tweeted.
He further urged the countrymen to help and motivate those who are eligible to take the vaccine.
Notably, India has recorded 22,854 new cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, with the total number of those infected reaching 1,12,85,561.
