Lockdown 4.0: Metro not to ply; buses to run with 20 passengers in Delhi

New Delhi Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced that during the Lockdown 4.0, bus services and three-wheeler have been allowed to run with conditions, while shops will open in markets in the national capital on an even-odd basis.

”Bus services with restrictions, Odd even for shops in the market, Home delivery of food, Auto-rickshaw with 1 passenger, Cabs with 2 passengers, Standalone shops and Industries with staggered timings allowed in Delhi during the Lockdown 4,” Mr Kejriwal said, adding ”Buses will run with 20 passengers.

Addressing the media through video-conferencing here, Mr Kejriwal said metro services will remain
prohibited during the period.

He said schools, colleges, Universities, Hotels, Cinema halls, malls, bars, Political, religious gatherings, barbers, spa and salons will also not be allowed in Lockdown 4.0.

Mr Kejriwal on Sunday had said that the Delhi government will prepare the detailed plan for the National Capital, based on the Centre’s guidelines issued for Lockdown 4.0, imposed to check the spread of Novel Coronavirus.
