Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat was on Friday tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
“He is currently having common symptoms of COVID-19 and has been admitted to Kingsway Hospital in Nagpur where he is undergoing general check-up,” the saffron organisation said in a Twitter post.
Notably, Mr Bhagwat had taken the first shot of COVID-19 vaccine on March 7.
The Nagpur city, where RSS headquarter is located, reported 6,550 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday while 67 more people lost their lives there.
